We were called upon by LUXGEN to demonstrate the S5 TURBO chassis strength.  Several ideas presented and yet the container was far more the reasonable approach to perform live on the media day.

Although we have spent years with LUXGEN and knowing S5 TURBO inside and out, but we were unsure if the vehicle structure will be strong enough to withstand over 1800kgs of weight on roof supported by 6 points.

Thereof, we proceed to designed the testing process and recorded the video for further evaluation.

14 days were allowed from design, testing, and actually carry out live performance.

Q&A:
Q:  What is that container?
A:  The container is a 20′ assembled type of structure (exact same size of the 20′ container)  that final weighted 1600kg.  During the 1st testing, it has assembled with door and windows.  But the final act for TVC and media press, the door and window panels were replaced with solid walls.
Q:  What’s the final weight?
A:  The final weight were:
Container:  1600kg
Inside loaded:  400kg of sand bags + iron blocks
Roof rack:  300kg (heavy steel)
Total weight:  2300kg (which is equivalent to a 20′ container)
